I did not want to wake up this morning. As a result of drinking 2 cups of low-caffeinated tea last night, my mind was flung into a space of words and images keeping me up til 3 a.m.  Amazing how my brain can be so sneaky. It tells me that I should sleep, yet it spits out random melodies and images. They play like a broken record...repeating over and over again...

However, I am thankful that there is sunshine filtering through my windows, keeping the apartment warm.  There is nothing like a little sun to brighten your day. My spirits are already lifted.

I hope you are also keeping warm and dry through this Winter Season.

Reunited love.

Hello, Mr. Sketchbook. It's been a while... :)

I am not the great “I am,” but by the grace of God, I am what I am.

Today was a typical lazy Saturday. I woke up, watched a few re-runs of 90210, did a sudoku puzzle, and walked over to the grocery store to get some ingredients to make some chinese scallion pancakes for lunch. They turned out really good. It brought me back to eating at hole-in-the-wall dumpling places in Calif. I served them with a soy-vinegar-chili sauce. Mmmm...thank you William-Somona cookbook. What a great way to start the new year. :)
